Dormatic seats
Cheers,
Robin.
On my 1970 the seat comes out on two screw knobs like on the passenger seat and I suppose you could say it is a pain, but as I have only used 3 bottles of gas in 5 years, not really. I have had to remove the seat more times to change gearboxes and then it is even easier then a normal LR seat.Yes, you need to slide it right out, it doesn't lift..... I keep the runners well greased to make it a bit easier. It's the one thing that they fell short on as it is a bit of a pain. When camping it is possible to slide it forward and get access to the hatch. However this is only useful for turning the regulator on or off, if you want to change a bottle, out comes the seat...
