Ebay, LHD Defender Dormobile

Post by RMS » Sun Aug 11, 2013 11:16 am

Pretty sure there will not be many interested on here, but an interesting vehicle all the same.

LHD, not old enough to import into USA but old enough for Canada, very nicely done - the cupboards etc. look to be high quality, but as far as I can see there are no beds, only bunks!

Those with Dormobiles might be able to confirm, but unless they have been rebuilt/replaced with something else, the Dormy bunks are only child size, aren't they

Anyway, ebay link is HERE if you want to have a look.

Cheers,
Robin.

They are 6ft... However I can fit in one fine ( at 6ft) and because of the excess room at the ends would have some additional space if pillows not actually on bunk.

Ah, my mistake - I'm sure someone with a Dormobile once told me theirs weren't adult sized :embarassed:

That makes it a much more useable vehicle then

I am six foot and have no problem using the bunks, also keeps me above wet labrador tails and noses during the night.

Looks like a very well thought out camper conversion but hardly a "Dormobile" :gold:

I find the bunks really comfy to sleep in with plenty of room
