Dormobile Table

Post by jonjeans » Mon May 13, 2013 10:07 am

What Cheer All

Neither of my 2A Dormobiles has the standard table: clips on passenger side and stored on rear door.

Are there any accurate dimensions and pictures available please to I may manufacture - alternatively, any one have the standard table for sale?

I also do not have the fitting type and accurate locations for clipping to set and door frame: help will be welcomed.

I live in Somerset, and could travel to view and take pictures and measurements if that would be convenient - work permitting?

Many Thanks

Mine is all intact but is in Carlisle... If you can wait until nearer the weekend I will take detailed measurements and pictures? Of course if your work takes you this far up, feel free!!

The door frame clip is remarkably simple but effective!

Mick is making a set for me. if you aren't in a hurry, I could ask him to make another set. Do you want to go halves?

I purchased a new one from Jim at Dormobile as mine was missing, only problem with it was all the fittings had been put on incorrectly

Hi all

I have had 4 people ask about tables and making the steel bits shouldn't be that much of a problem. Would anyone want the table top as well? Would have to do a bit of research on what materials are available to make a good copy?

Cheers Mick

Thanks for this Mick. Naturally dependent on cost - and I presumed that the table top would be part of the table - but not having one - I don't know the construction and fittings. - jj
