Dormobile In America........
I was wondering how this can be listed as 1980
Could it be a Puma transplanted onto a 1980 chassis to get around the regulations ??

It's something that I've seen before, something to do with them being 25 year old, I'm sure it's to get around there import license or something like that!
It's similar to what we have over here where unscrupulous people register a newer vehicle on older plates to get free road tax and now that the MoT exemption has come in probably get that too, Defender series one anyone?

The 25 year rule is correct. But there's something a little fishy going on - the VIN number shows up as a 1983/84 model year 110 pickup truck with a 2.5 litre diesel. With only 12,000 miles? The cab looks very new. Word on the street has it that Alabama is the easiest state in the USA to register motor vehicles. A snip at only $73,000.

Without any doubt the ID has been robbed from an early 110 to get round the 25 year rule. That Landy is brand new.
