She's been modified so far from her original army configuration, by the time I've added narrow windows over the cabinet and a gas bottle holder she'll almost be a civilian Carawagon. Peeling paint on roof sorted out the morning after the photo was taken, though she really needs new seals and a roof repaint inside and out. Used most weekends spring to autumn, and even in the depth of winter. Want to replace the fetching camouflaged foam mattress with something a bit more Carawagon-like but I think I'll keep the matching camouflaged curtains up front. In the absence of a folding Carawagon stove on the rear door she has a Mobile Storage Solutions unit fitted there.

I find winter use is fine all the time the ice stays stuck to the inside of the folding roof; but it's not so pleasant when it melts! Must get the Propex heater fitted at some point.

Ah yes, heaters

We've got a nice Eberspacher Diesel blown hot air night heater built into Patrick's Carawagon.
5 minutes before you get ready for bed and the interior is really cosy. An arm out of the sleeping bag in the morning to put it on for another 5 minutes and you're getting up to a warm Carawagon

I did have it on most of the night at Newark last year, just ticking over at 12C, but that's real luxury - really only need it just before getting undressed, and just before getting dressed.

I'm on the lookout for one for mine, but it's the wrong time of year for Eberspacher bargains
