Hi to every one, just joined, at this moment in time we do not have a classic Land Rover, we are looking have one to see in a few weeks.
We do have two land Rovers A Discovery 3 and a Discovery 1 V8 LPG, we have on a few trips slept in the D3, a trip to Croatia, and we did a 3000 mile trip though 9 counries in 11 days raising money for MS, also to LR shows.
WE did Convoy 4 Heroes last year, and going againe this year, is any one going from this forum, we will be marshaling, and would like to meet up ask for yoda.

But we our now looking for a Carawagon, for another charity drive next year, (more to follow).

We are retired now, we like greenlaning and seeing the country side, walking although slow due to aurthritus.

Welcome :tiphat:

A year ago I'd have said you'd be lucky to find a Carawagon for sale, but in the last few months one of our members sold his, I've bought another (yes, a two Carawagon family now :neener: ), and another member has just bought one of the very first prototypes :stars:

I suppose they are a bit like buses; nothing for ages, then three come along at once :thud:

Good luck with the search - if anyone hears of one for sale, I'm sure they will post on the forum.

Cheers,
Robin.

Well we have now got a camper, sad to say not a carawagn, not realy a classic, so not sure if you will let us stay on this forum, some photos are in our web site,
http://teddybearspicnic.webs.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Our trip next year is going through Russia, Siberia & Kazakhstan, the intention is undertake research/photography on the endanged Snow Leopard - how the animals impact of the lives of locals, its deminishing habitat, etc. - whilst raising funds for the registered charity The Foundation for Endangered Species ( http://www.ffes.org.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You will see from the photos we have a bit of work to do, but with help from freinds and family we hope to haveit ready to show at the http://www.4x4overlandtravel.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;"

So looking forward to next year, if we manage to finnish the rebuild early may get to so other shows.
