Re: Awning poles
G'day Robin, any news on the sets of awning poles yet i ask because i am now working on the back of HEC my 88 and will be trundling off soon to get lost in my wilderness not just to pick up trinkets but tend graves and sleep in the forest in the warmth for a change.
AS you know i have been off the road far to long now and after loosing a close biker bud my need for a fix of traveling is now even stronger and to make matters worse my close friend left me his throbbing V twin custom bike in his will .
Well use the bike i hear you say my pudding basin helmet is rotten along with my gloves and i seam to have grown out of my Lewis leather jacket so along with tax and insurance my truck had better come first .
Catch you later. R-Rose .

Hi Chaps
I have a number of canvasses which may work quite interestingly with your pole set up.
I shall bring some t'pit for your perousal.

Re: Awning poles
Hi Matt,
That would be great, thanks.
We usually use cheap tarps over the poles - mainly because the firepit does tend to throw sparks out of the chimney on full bore so the awning material does get holes in it!
With proper canvas we'd have to be a little more careful
This is original awning which was designed for the poles (blue on the right):
And the original brochure:
I do have an original awning myself, but at most of our camps we tend to live outdoors so the tarp over is more useful
Cheers,
Robin.

Re: Awning poles
After collecting my set of awning poles from Robin while at Leafers I have now had chance to fit them with very few problems https://www.flickr.com/photos/21667585@ ... 5760610394
