We can only dream of weather like that Jerry; if this year is another washout, perhaps I'll need another trip down your way to warm up
I think we had about two weeks of hot weather last year, I remember it was in April, as that's when I sprayed my Carawagon.
If I had missed that opportunity I don't think I would have got it done as there wasn't another prolonged period of warm, dry weather for the rest of the year
Cheers,
Robin.

As for this weekend...Chuffin' Nora!
Great day out of a Saturday.
Thanks Karin for getting it together and especially to John Gristoner for planning an 'easy' 4WD (sorry 2WD) green (sorry, white) -laner.
And so it came to pass, we met at t't swimming pool, including new buddy Garry the photographer, who was to share the ignominy with me of being stuck in t't snow-drifts.
Here are the lambs to be slaughtered, led by John's FC, who managed to pull on the day.
Mr & Mrs Turpin waited like magpies for the shiniest thing to pillage. Bling-bling!
...but Robin of Loxley saved the day using his red sword (er, lever).
Then we stopped for lunch. On Mars.
Chapter 2 later ...

Finally got this picture from Steve taken on the morning after our wild camp on the moors near Skipton:
You may notice that my Carawagon has less snow on it than Steve's - that's partly due to his sheltering mine but mainly because I had a working cooker and Eberspacher heater - Steve's failed on both counts
Cheers,
Robin.

All part of the undoubted joys of overlanding ... minus propane, minus Eber'spark' and minus 9.5C!RMS wrote:Finally got this picture from Steve taken on the morning after our wild camp on the moors near Skipton:
