Ah!! Robin,

Just could not let the light thing go, had to find out what, where, and why. I now have pic's that were takenby the previous owner, before the removal of doors and wings

The wing top light mounting brackets were available for both Dormobiles and Carawagons to allow jerry cans to be mounted vertically in front of the wings.

G'day chaps, i remember the double type from where i don't know but if i can't buy them i will but if not and know body else is willing to knock some up i will have a bash at making some but with my arthritic hands it might be a tad interesting if nothing else

G'day chap's, for a change now the chain on the horn pull is finished along with the rear canopy including the wiring i turned my thoughts on a temporary basis to the side lights and indicators as per the single light pod one pictured so i dug myself some alloy out and had a play at bending using heat and fairy liquid.

Because i would like the shape of the pictured pods but in double form i think my best way of doing it would be to make a wooden shaped pod first then with my body repair tools and small flame thrower apply the fairy liquid so when the flame turns the area black start tapping  .

Unfortunately i leave my welding to those more confident than myself which is a bit of a devil because i have the kit but making something from someone else's scrap/junk is another one of my hobbies but my memory lets me down a tad so as usual i talk on here not that i get any responses mind  but some how it helps me unravel my scrambled mind and i can go forward very much like my other posts.

Catch you later. R-Rose :tiphat: .

Hi Jock & Brad - you might have seen THIS THREAD about a Dormobile for sale in the USA which has double light pods.

There are some close-up pictures of the pods on his flickr album such as this one HERE

Cheers,
Robin.
