Re: Doncaster Classic Car Show - 15th July 2012
Well,
A few of us made it!
Steve, Patrick & I all took our Carawagons, enjoying an extra night camping in a lovely village (with very bad roads!) called Wroot, on Friday night.
On Saturday, we were invited to join in a procession through the village, which we did with our roofs erected!
I'm not sure what the locals thought of us, but lots of folk were waving, clapping and taking photos
(I'll try to get a photo or two of the pageant to put here.)
John joined us in the Military Carawagon at Doncaster on Saturday, with Wayne and his entourage battling through the storms in his Pink Panther 109 (no top & no windscreen!!!).
John fed us this time - Thai chicken followed by cream buns (for some of us ) - thanks John
Anyway - Sunday dawned with almost clear blue skies and it was very warm in the sun, bringing in loads of other cars and visitors.
Another good outing for LRCC, I think
