In a bid to help with transfer case cooling (and thus also gearbox cooling), I've fitted an aftermarket cover that increases the cooling capacity by about a litre.

I'm glad I did as the temperature crossing the Mojave Desert was 49 degs C! I couldn't touch the bulkhead as it was so hot. Made by a company called Wootz in Tucson, where they know a thing or two about hot weather.
