has anyone on here ever found any plans to make your own pop top/elevating roof - Id like to make my own for my Land Rover - but anything generic you may have stumbled across would be helpful............Are there any plans out there for the Carawagon roof??

That is quite a collection of pictures!! Im amazed that there are no plans/drawings on t'internet showing the construction of elevating roofs...............

A step by step guide would be an interesting read. I wonder if there is one on a motorhome forum somewhere? I run one so I'll start asking on there.

Scrap that I have just found out that the founder of the group (on Yahoo Groups) has closed it without saying anything to me Nice...

I hate it when people do that though. I offered to help him and he took me on as a mod for the group. I have about 6 years of experience of running Yahoo groups so I know my way around them. I did nothing without asking the owner but it would have been nice if he'd offered to hand the group over to me to run if he didn't want to continue. None of us had any notice that he was shutting the group down

Poor Form Kevan, but the Forum may still be on its server, why not give matey a shout - you may be able o revive it.....
