I'm just about to put the new B post side frames on my S3 Dormobile, but can't remember where this bracket is from



I thought I would remember when I was taking the frame out, but senility is setting in

The strange thing is that it was only on the driver's side - there's nothing on the passenger side to match.

I've tried it in various positions, but it doesn't seem to do anything useful in any position I've tried.
Two of the holes match the spacing of the chassis mounting points, the other two are about 5mm closer together.

It could be a Dormobile addition as I can't see anything like it on the S3 parts diagrams.

I know at least one of you out there (Mark) has replaced their side frames - any ideas?

That looks like the bracket which bolts between the chassis outrigger (in front of the rear wheel) and body just behind the 'C' post. Yes, there should be one on either side.

I am sure it is a L/R part, not Dormobile.

Yes, looks like that's where it fits Ian, thanks for the pointer.

However, there is no bracket on the passenger side, so it looks like the garage which rebuilt the vehicle 7 years ago forgot to put it back on

I'll have another trawl through the parts manual for a number and see if it's available.
If not, then a bit of fabrication is in order!
