No other info as yet. Hopefully I'll have working Land Rover and be able to drive it this year!

Thanks Rob.

I'm just putting together a list of this year's shows and will post it soon.

Cheers,
Robin.

Just seen a note on the Facebook page that they're full.

Yep,

I received an email from one of the organisers last night saying they were looking at the layout and decided it was now full.

In previous years you could turn up on the day and pay at the gate to show your vehicle, but this year anyone turning up without a pass may be turned away.

Hopefully everyone who wanted to bring their vehicle for show has already got their pass, in which case we'll see you there

Last year was the first time all of the fields were for show vehicles - previously part of the larger field was used for public parking.
So, there must be a lot of vehicles already booked in this year - should be quite a show

Cheers,
Robin.

Oh dear, I was hoping to come to this and was just about to enquire whether anybody was staying over on the Saturday night. I just assumed that it was a case of turning up like I did a few years ago however it appears I should have done my homework and checked beforehand. I was hoping to use this as a one off to get back into the practise of things - not too far away and only one night. Nevermind it's one of those things will just organise something else for that day

Great weather, great company, great show!

Image

4 109" Carawagons (me, Patrick, Phillip & Trev), a Carawagon with Dormobile roof (Rob), and a Searle Safari Sleeper (Stu) meant all the overnight campers were Searle based!

Alex and dad Keith joined us for the Sunday in their Stage1 and 101 camper.

Although a couple of car clubs didn't turn up, the rest of the fields were crammed with classic (and more modern  ) cars, so it's worth remembering next year to get your applications in early as some folk turning up to show vehicles without passes were being turned away to park in the public car park :thud:

Thanks to all who joined us for a great weekend.

Cheers,
Robin.

Pretty sure it's a 2B, think someone drove it back from South Africa where it was used to transport Army salaries around.

Yes, sorry, wasn't concentrating when I wrote that - it is a 2B FC.

Cheers,
Robin.

 Must have been hefty salaries judging the size of the Landrover...

Still, would love to see some piccies from the inside...
