Hello all. Not posted for a while more of a reader than a writer I have been pointed to Phil (Phil are you out there) to inquire about chassis numbers. My 109 is chassis number 26100002a and I allways assumed it was the first sent to searal for conversion but I have read that there is another claiming to be 26100002 but no "a" has any one got a clue.the little bit of research I have done says it was fitted as a royale.

The chassis numbers had a suffix, so my 1970's are both "G", maybe they only recorded the number?

Hi,

I did spend time at Gaydon researching 109's sent to Searles
for conversion to Carawagons.I only researched 3 door from
1962 to 1971( ie series 2)

Petrol eng had chassis no's 2520
Diesel eng had chassis no's 2770
Petrol 6cyl had chassis no's 3460

So I have no idea where 2610 comes from, unless yours is
a 5 door.

I have a suffix a shorty from 1961.

Not a camper but, strangely enough supplied by Searle of Sunbury.
