Cornwall and France July 2017

Just getting ready for the early summer jaunt - down to Cornwall to see my family for a few days, then on the Plymouth ferry to Brittany to see the boy and his family , then off for a few days in Normandy before coming back to blightly.

I will be leaving Esther "baby sitting" for a week while I return to work for my final 3 days in the office before retirement !

White Dormobile has now done nearly 2000 miles since rebuild (rather than the 22 miles before we set off last time!) and has done runs to Southwell and Towcester .so more confident than before.

G'day Alex, i must say i envy you, not about your retirement but the way you just get off and go traveling.
Many year's ago i did just what you do but on my Matchless chop and my sense of freedom, dose bag strapped to the front fork's and old alloy frying pan clipped to one of the bungees that held my dose bag to the front fork's.
Unfortunately as most people that know me realize my travel's are limited to this country  , not that it matter's because we have wildlife and plant's that are always good to be among.
Sorry if i ever repeat myself but i do feel lucky nature is never far away if only to clear modern day life away and be back with nature for a short time.

Catch you later. R-Rose :tiphat: .
