Heated screens

Hi guys & gals,

The SeriouslySeries forum are making a bulk order for heated screens - priced at a discounted rate of £120 per pair instead of £167.76

Ian (mriceman) has opened the offer to other clubs/forums, so if anyone from here wants to take advantage of the bulk buy, let Ian know over on the SeriouslySeries forum HERE.

I think you need to register to see the posts, but if you really don't want to register, PM me and I'll pass your details on to Ian.

As with the S2C bulk buy, the screens will be held at one or more locations to be distributed or picked up by members - locations aren't fixed yet (I think) but one is probably Oldham.

I'll be offering the wiring kits I made for the previous S2C bulk buys, with 10 minute timer, for £27 if I get more than 10 orders (minimum order for discount on the timers!) or £30 if less than 10, plus £3.00 postage.

Hope this is of interest to some of you

Cheers,
Robin.

Hi Robin.

May I order a timer kit, please?

I'll get around to fitting these five year old screens eventually.

I would like two timer kits, could you check the price for shipment of those to Norway?

Hi Jan,

No problem.

I can't remember the weight of a complete kit from last time so will have to get everything together to weigh them.

I'll send you a message when I've checked the postage

Cheers,
Robin.

No rush, do it when you have assembled the kit. :gold:

Can you please add me to the list for a timer kit.

Just listed for a screen with the seriously crowd!

Many thanks

Hi Robin. Please can you put me down for a set of screens? Don't particularly want to register for a one off appearance!

Re the timer circuits, what do they attach to in the wiring? Just wondering whether to get a kit from you or an addition to the new loom like last time.

Hi Rob,

The kit needs an ignition controlled feed and a 'heavy' feed (the kit is fused at 25A - the screens draw around 18A/pair), usually from the inspection light sockets, heater switch or lighting switch, basically any non-fused, or high rated fused supply.

I've put you on the list for a pair, and provisionally for a wiring kit unless you let me know otherwise

Cheers,
Robin.
