So, how many Land Rovers can I get in a 70' x 40' barn

Just had our offer accepted on a house with 1 acre of land, the barn (was a poultry shed), two high spec quality living cabins and a bit of woodland with stream for spoon whittlers





Just hope it all goes through ok now as the last one were buying the sellers pulled out half way through Then again, that one only had a 4 bay tractor store

Yes, really looking forward to moving all my stuff from two garages and three sheds, plus trailers, caravans, project vehicles, engines and gearboxes etc. etc!

Luckily we're not selling our existing house straight away so can move stuff at our leisure

One of the reasons I haven't been working on my other two Carawagon projects is lack of working space, so hopefully once we get to the new place I'll be able to work on them inside, though with all that garden to look after I might be struggling for time!

Of course, it also gives me the opportunity to get a ride-on lawnmower I did wonder of I could fit a towbar and pull my projects around with it

Just one fly in the ointment though - the maximum broadband speed is less than 2Mb with no plans by BT/Openreach to improve it any time in the near future
I'm lucky enough to get just less than 30Mb where we are now, so that's going to come as a shock!

G'day Robin, i guess hauling trinkets round behind a ride on mower is quite a step up from trying it behind my mobility scooter{what i call my noddy car} but i guess you will use something a bit more robust unlike my bread trolley with steel wheels and a bit of rope .

After a sailsbury axle fell off the trolley in the middle of a very busy main road during the middle of the day i took to hauling trinkets later on at night when the roads were less busy but it was great fun and even more so with the looks i got off a lot of people .

OT ... but log onto the forum at www.gardenlaw.co.uk ... read all about the various NFH (Neighbours from Hell), but more to the point, there are experts happy to advise on what you can do on your plot without upsetting the planners.

One expert managed to get me Adverse Possession of the lane behind my last house, using a jumbo sized loophole in the "squatters" laws. He charged me £250 for his professional services, and Land Registry charged me £50. It took two months instead of the more usual 12 years.

The photos show the residents of my garden, in a residential area. I don't have any pics of the pigs. My neighbours loved them all ....even the Maran cockerel who crowed at 2AM every morning.
