Yesterday an interim cheque arrived for the full declared and agreed insurance value, no deductions, no preliminary offers...............would have liked a bit more communication from either the Insurer or the claims management company prior to this development though. I had been getting prepared for a fight with them based on other friends experiences, but no, nothing to complain about now.

I would strongly advise everyone to review what level insurance cover they carry, and take the time to get an agreed vehicle value, and take pictures of it in use, otherwise in the event of a claim, the insurance company may be inclined to think the vehicle is a crusty old wreck.

That's a great outcome, or at least the best outcome you could have after losing your vehicle

You just need another camper vehicle now!

Cheers,
Robin.

That must be a weight off your shoulders.

Now to find a replacement vehicle.

Head must rule over heart, still too many ongoing projects which includes the other two Dormobiles, so promised the current other half no replacement:whistle:

Can't you pretend you've just found it in the shed and play the

'Oh, this old thing' card?
