Firstly it's a lot rarer than a standard lwb (find another) so it's going to command a higher price. It looks very complete but I'd be checking the condition of the "Dormobile" bits especially the roof and canopy. Make sure it is in good working condition with no tears in the canopy. Check the bunks, check the wardrobe and kitchen unit for rust, make sure the seats are complete and work as intended. Some new parts are available as you are probably aware.

The rest of it is normal land rover so check for rust in doors and bulkhead etc. the rest you probably know. Good luck with it

Just returned from my viewing, she looks good and I have taken the plunge and made a purchase
Now I have got to arrange transport from Cleveland to essex
Does that now make me a full member of LRCC
Hopefully I will be out and about next year
Thanks Kevin

That's fantastic Kevin, well done
For info though, all you need is an interest in LR Classic Campers to be a 'full member', though actually having one might add a bit of kudos
AlexB on here has had a couple of Dormobiles transported long distances - send him a PM to ask for details in case he doesn't pick this up as he rates the guy highly.
Looking forward to seeing more pictures of it when it arrives and hopefully to seeing you at an event or show some time soon.
Cheers,
Robin.
