Hi Karl,

These holes are drain holes to allow the rainwater drain away from the windowchannels.
Make sure that you open them up if they are blocked. Maybe not such an issue where you are. But over here in the cold and wet all the time, you grow your own mobile garden if you let it all clog up.

I noticed in an earlier thread someone on here had one made (very nice it was too.) I was quoted £700 to £1500 it will have to wait a while. Any recommendations?
I can highly recommend Graham at http://www.tentvaletingservices.co.uk/ He can make you anything you want. We love the awning he made for our Dormobile. It's the green one in Robins pictures above and didn't flinch in the sand storms we had in Morocco.

Will have it with me this summer at the shows and events we attend.

That does make sense, haven't seen them on photos of other vehicles though.....

Ahaa, the pics of your frame look almost identical to the british army 9x9 command tent, designed to butt against a Landie.
