What an event - wall to wall leafers and lots of Landy folk
We were a bit short of LRCC members, just me, Neil and Michiel there on the stand, though there were one or two others set up elsewhere on the show field
We saw some other interesting campers arrive throughout the weekend, including the Dormobile parked next to Michiel's - apparantly originally a MoD Rapier control vehicle!
Here are just one or two photos from the weekend.
(Taken by Simon, woollen797 on here)
The total raised was £2145 - all goes to the Mining Museum
All thanks go to Ian and his team who work so hard to make this a great event, bigger and better each year
Cheers,
Robin.

Wow what a turn out. I'm gutted our two couldn't be amongst them.
Oh well here's to next year

Well IF anyone joined us over the Bank Holiday at the National Coal Mining Museum in Wakefield
Thank you.....
Where to start....
WELL what a fantastic Bank holiday weekend of leafer packed fun...
New faces, old faces and some fantastic new friendships made.
Leafers is a bit of an oddball to some folks...
Maybe seen as a bit 'disorganised' (I prefer relaxed) or not rigidly structured with its slightly "Turn up, tune in AND have fun format?
OK we don't have booking forms as such OR numbered pegs on the show field... heck you can even sleep in your landrover ON the show field if that's the way you roll...
A fantastic weekend of series fun with cracking new vehicles to be seen and drooled over.
weather was, mostly kind and we managed to empty
5 X 72 pint casks of real ale of various types so no one went thirsty.
I'm home and sort of unloaded
BIG BIG thanks to all of you that supported us and helped raise a record amount for the National Coal Mining Museum charity this year (carrying on the year on year increase we have managed over the past years)
It truly wouldn't be the event it is without ALL of your support....
Time to start planning next year's event already ;-)
Ohhhh and the total donation to the National Coal Mining Museum ......
A very healthy £ 2145
Thank you.....

Thanks Simon! Great pictures and a great record of an amazingly diverse collection of Land Rovers all in one place.
