So I just got back from a trip to view the changing leaves here in Colorado with a friend of mine in his Carawagon. I have been tied up with a home remodel project, but finally got the Dormobile out for some activity.
I did a write up on my blog:

Sorry did not have the energy to make multiple posts on multiple sites I frequent. I hope the title will entice you to see a classic Carawagon and Dormobile traversing the Colorado wilds!
Not too bad for a 44 year old truck with the original 6 cylinder and some of the passes being 13,000 feet up

Re: Fall Color Trip Dormobile AND Carawagon
Sounds like a great trip
The links don't seem to be working though - looks like they have been shortened, perhaps by whatever forum/site you have copied it from
Checking your website, I think the first link should be:
http://travelinlightdormobile.com/2015/ ... ll-colors/
I can't work out the photobucket link though.
Cheers,
Robin.

Re: Fall Color Trip Dormobile AND Carawagon
Those are amazing photos - every now and again I look at the costs of shipping my Carawagon out there for a month or so's adventure, and seeing photos like these make it even more tempting.
Is that a roof hatch on your friends Carawagon, or some kind of top storage locker?

Thanks Patrick, if you get around to it please let us know so we can plan some trips for you!!!
That is a homemade sunroof / hatch on the Carawagon. It was there prior to Mike buying the Carawagon. The weather was perfect for it.
