Just a reminder, folk, for what is usually our last show of the year.

It's a good one, mainly tractors but with several clusters of trucks, cars, commercials, stationry engines and of course a section for Land Rovers too. I think anything pre Defender would be welcome and not look out of place at all.

LRCC are just a subset of the Land Rover section at this show.

One thing to bear in mind is we can't have any kind of tent on the showground - but there is a camping area on site and entrants get a free pass for that of course.

See you there maybe?

EDIT- Patrick beat me to the reply :tiphat:

Hi Simon,

It's quite an interesting show - primarily hundreds (a thousand or so  ) tractors from mini crawlers to tractor-pulling twin engine jobbies!

There are usually also about 50 or so classic cars and 30+ or so Land Rovers.

Lots of stalls from country foods (got to try the beaver pie  ), wines etc., country/farmer's clothing, crafty stalls, to stalls selling tractor/farming parts, new and used. Plus an interseting autojumb

You could spend a full day just going round the show and still not see everything.
It's well worth going - it's free for exhibitors (though if we have a club stand we have to pay :stars: hence me suggesting individual entries).

No problem with your S3 - nobody judges your vehicle, unless you want them to

The only issue is they don't like tents/caravans on the show area.
Some have got away with it in previous years, but there have been rumblings for the last couple of years to make tents/caravans camp in the camping area.
Fine if you're living in the back of your '109" camper', but don't count on being able to put a frame tent up.
Then again, you should have your awning frame on by then, shouldn't you :tiphat:

Cheers,
Robin.
