today he V5 came back for cararwagon, and i carryed on with repaires after i had finished my work. As part of the rot in the bulkhead out rigger theres was no door pillar left at the bottom so i cut the rest of the pillar out this afternoon and replaced the hole lot in cluding the foot.
the footwell is next to be replaced as it will tie the door pillar back into the bulkhead. monday im gona change the clutch

Clutch is fitted and working, passenger door piller fitted, drivers piller cut out semi welded.
bought all the repair sections for b and c post and rear shock mounts,. im hoping over december to be able to do a bit more, still looking for a roof and cupboards, seats. but have found what i believe to be the correct cooker unit.

did come and say hello at the LRO show this year.

i'll ad some pictures once it starts moving forward again.

How it stands today, had a break from it for six months due to work and family commitments, in the last week I've fitted drivers side a post and new wheels and tyres, and fitted a safari roof as a temporary measure in till I can find a lifting one.

I bought them at a sod bury last year for a tenner each with bold tyres, when I got them home and try to take the tires off they had the military run flat bands in side with I believe we're fitted to rapper 130s and ambulances. Ended up having to cut the tires off so I could get the bands. Anyway now fitted with bfg muds

Sound like the take-offs VASS used to sell, 130 rims with XZY tyres.

We got a set of 5 from them, just about the last of their stock, for our Morocco trip in 2011.

You can just about see them on this picture;
