Re: Unusual camper
I've seen a lot of Land Rovers in the last 15 years of been active on the Club scene. I thought I had seen all there was to see regarding conversion to personal tastes. The fur lined Dormobile was alway my favorate 'worst possible taste' vehicle. This vehicle as just raise the bar beyond belief. If I had a spare £4000 I think I would buy it off him and then burn it on his drive.

Can I have the gearbox out if it before you torch it
We do not stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing.
Re: Unusual camper
Surely by the time you'd weighed in the extras you'd have your money back & a Series 3?

I think you'd have to be one of the "seven dwarfs" to sleep in the back of it, unless I'm missing something obvious
Re: Unusual camper
Love the typo in the add. "Limited adition" i think the additions are anything but limited!

G'day chaps, well i feel i have to disagree with you all having seen and spoke to the guy who took pride in his motor and regards the build quality well that is something to be seen not all of it is my cup of tea but each to there own i say.
As for the Perkins it to would look well in one of my trucks any day and the builder loved that motor which was well visible by how it was fitted along with a lot more mods he had done so i just hope it goes to a good home.
This first appeared at Billing many years ago along with Oddjob the ambulance camper that has now got a good home with Dr Morris of this parish.
Just the views of a silly old fool who likes to polish his motors on the inside that's valves pistons rods cranks oil pumps you name em i polish em .
Catch you later. R-Rose .
