Another military Carawagon found

Post by Peaceand » Tue Jun 17, 2014 9:41 pm

After a recent camping trip my friend uploaded some photos - and one of his friends spotted Holly and said something along the lines of "I know where there's another of those with the curved roof, with a matching trailer"
I don't want to give the location as the owner hasn't been contacted to ask yet, but from the photos it looks like a genuine series 3 "Tactical command post" but without the external rear awning frame. The trailer is a Sankey of some kind - not sure about the details of that.

Registration number is remarkably similar to the one that Jim has just linked to: http://www.milweb.net/webvert/72859

Hopefully more details will follow...

As far as I know Patrick, the 'Tactical Command Post' models didn't feature the rear awning frame. At least, I have not seen one with it fitted and nor does the brochure shot i have show one. I can't see why the MOD would specify one being fitted.

Good to hear they are still turning up!
