Greetings from sunny Yorkshire

Post by Toots » Fri Jan 03, 2014 6:13 pm

Hi all,

Have owned a swb s3 for many years and since seeing Jabbawockys Dormobile I fancied one myself.

Long story short have just bought a wreck of a 1973 626 conversion. All the dormobile parts seem to be present but most of the land rover parts have, erm, rusted into oblivion. Tis the one flagged up in the for sale section here on the 18th nov.

Should be coming home with me next weekend if I can call in a few favours in time.

Imagine I will be on here plenty seeking advice and inspiration from some fantastic looking resto jobs I've seen in the photo section.

Hi Toots, and welcome :tiphat:

Where abouts in Yorkshire are you?

Cheers,
Robin.

EDIT: Ah yes, just spotted that you're on S2C with the same username so that makes you a Silsden lad, does it not?

Just updated profile. Live in Sutton in Craven. Believe we have briefly met a time or two at Micks?

Ah yes - thanks for the reminder :tiphat:

Difficult to put a face to a name like Toots though

Cheers,
