Hi guys,
Neil (muckitup) ran this past me while we were at the Ripley Castle show.
He's found a camp site in Northumberland he thinks would be a great place for a club camping weekend.
Details HERE on the S2C site - looks like you'll have to tell them you're an S2C member for the discount though
Cheers,
Robin.

Re: Northumberland camping, Sept 20-22
So far I have 3 units booked an 50% deposit paid.
There is a trip to Holly Island planned for the Saturday leaving the campsite around 9am an only a 15-20 min drive over the causeway to the island. We MUST all be off the island by 2:20pm as the tide (North Sea covers the causeway road).
Closing Date For Booking: First week of August.
Thanks Neil.

We'll probably be going to this, Neil, but we haven't decided who's going or in what, that's why we haven't booked yet
Susan might be coming, in which case we'll probably tow one of the campers (Dandy or Esterel) up with one of the Carawagons.
Or, Susan might be visiting friends in Newcastle, so I'll drop her off and we won't need the camper.
Or, assuming Patrick is coming, we might tow the Dandy up or come in two Carawagons, or a car towing the Dandy plus a Carawagon.
So, you'll see that plans are still not set
As soon as we decide who and what vehicles, we'll book
Cheers,
Robin.

Hope you all come when you've sorted out your choices When you eventually book please will you let me know the booking number/s that the campsite give you. Going by what people are saying and if they do come I think we will have quite a collection of different vehicles and sleeping accommodation.
Regards Neil
