Yesterday was the annual All British Field Meet and car show at Woodley Park in Van Nuys. We took the Dormie and arrived late as it refused to start due to stuck carb linkage.
It was worth going though as we had a good turn out of 3 Dormies - Bob's Series 2A, Hema's Series 3 and my Series 2A plus Mo's immaculate 109 station wagon sandwiched in between.
Here are some pictures from the show.....
All in all, a Grand Day Out.
Cheers,
Ian

Re: Los Angeles ABFM
That white Series 3 looks just like the one that was stolen from under my nose in Brisbane, I'd agreed to buy it and had the $$ in my pocket, the boys were playing "camping" in it while me and the owner were talking, then low and behold somebody had pressed "buy it now" while we were busy talking.
The rest is history as he then refused to let me buy it even though I'd agreed to buy it an hour before

Re: Los Angeles ABFM
The white Series 3 did come from Australia apparently. Sorry you missed buying it. The Dormie on the left isn't original - it was converted from a station wagon with parts from another Dormie that had a rotten chassis. Mine is the truck on the right.
