Post by jock » Wed Mar 06, 2013 11:53 pm

Hi Jerryd,
A Land Rover mate just e-mailed me about a dormobile on ebay, it's on the mornington peninsula Vic going for $4000... Looks like the genuine thing... Might be worth a look ... Jock

It looks like it needs a full re build to me :stars: going by the pics, if it wasn't so far away I'd go and have a look or maybe drive down with a trailer and bring it back, if it was $2k cheaper .

If I purchased it I'd be thinking about transplanting the "dormobile stuff" onto an "Isuzu County" and having the ultimate off road camper. Now it just so happens that I know where a good one is waiting for a new owner, but I'm not sure what swmbo would have to say about my plan

Here's a couple of pics of my old county, powered by a 3.9 litre Isuzu Motor and unstoppable.
