Wanted: Carawagon annex tie downs

Post by JohnnoP » Sat Aug 31, 2019 7:34 am

I’m looking for 2x tie downs as used on the Carawagon’s.
The new ones I’ve seen in hardware shops aren’t galvanised and the hole spacing is different.
Does anyone have any they don’t have a use for? Or know of where to get them?

Never seen those

Are you sure it's a Carawagon part - none of my (4) Carawagons have them, even the three with original pull out awning frames - they usually have pop studs down the side.

None of the other Carawagons I've seen have them either - or not that I've noticed.

Do you have pictures of your awning? Is it an original Carawagon one, with pull out frame, as per this brochure?

Hmm
I’m assuming they are original
It has the pull out frame and the sail rack that goes all around the outside

One of mine has the awning rail across the top and down the sides - the rest have the rail across the top and press studs down the sides.

It's possible that someone added those afterwards, as extra tie-downs in windy conditions
