Re: Just come back
Lt77 plus 200 tdi. Engine sat on the original 6 pot engine mounts on chassis. LT77 has a removable cross member. Stage 1 axle to be removed from the green dormobile in due course and put onto this one.
Brakes to bleed (again) , steering lock to adjust (too one sided), turbo hoses to have jubilee clips on and one hose to replace, carpets, seats and wardrobe to re-install, gas to connect.
Probably a host of other things as well.

Re: Just come back
Is the stage one axle the front or rear axle? I guess if you use permanent 4 wheel drive you would need cv joints rather then the uj in the normal series front axle.
Did you have to move the gearbox x member or is it in the original place, just removable?
Sorry for all these questions, but I am planning and working out how to improve my Dora but still be able to make it original if it ever needs be.
Cheers,
Michiel

The stage 1 is the front axle and has cv joints, however, several folk have run without stage one axles with no problems.
Leaving the engine on the 6 pot mounts means that most cross members are fine. Just the gearbox member needs removing and replacing with another one.
Gets a bit tight in the front though! (for radiator and cooling)
