I am fairly confident of the final spec - tdi, lt77, power steering, lots of sound proofing!

Toots is being tempted by demons of the 6 pot variety :aaagh:

Eyebrows may be raised as I have just ordered the curtain rail, gliders and tape for this project.

Slightly premature perhaps, but one has to think ahead

We had to order stuff for the Blue Dormobile so thought sod it, might as well get enough for both (£195) ouch

Curtain header tape £3 per meter - proper stuff though

Esther has bought material so once this stuff arrives, she will be busy

Picked up the new chassis last weekend.

Might be able to get some paint on this weekend (needs to be 5 degrees and rising)

Paid £2070, with discount and modifications. Twice as much as Lucy's 88, but really pleased.

a couple of pictures

chassis now at home

Image

weather not good enough for painting yet, and I am tempted to T wash followed by Hammerite "direct on galv"

Image

Not easy to move that now and it isn't any where near to where it should be

Plenty to do !

Nice

My new galv chassis is still on its side in my garage - not quite so shiny 2 years after being dipped

Cheers,
Robin.

Just waiting for a bit and then will rinse off.
