As can be seen, the shock of being dragged round the countryside was too much for the bulkhead which has gradually disintegrated!

Anyway, nothing that a new Richard's chassis, replacement bulkhead, side frames, doors and some tlc won't put right!
Lick of paint to the wardrobe and kitchen, give those curtains a wash and it will be as good as new

A bit of fibreglass and WD40 and it'll be good as new :neener:

Looks like a fair bit of work there Alex, a real "ground-up" rebuild required, but as you say, worth it as all the Dormy bits seem to be there.

Have fun

Cheers,
Robin.

A bit of paint & sorted!

What are the rear hubs? They look quite big compared to mine.

All the hubs seem to have special hub caps on the match the 8 spoke wheels.

Lovely !

Looks like you've got your work cut out there, but at least what looks like (to my untrained eye) is that all of the Dormobile stuff is still present.

However I do find it strange that some people go to great lengths in fitting those military style top hinges only for others to screw through the door top to fit the Series 3 / Defender style mirrors and arms, and it's not the first time I have seen that type of 'mod' too!

Hard to believe that it was August that I bought this.

Off to pick it up shortly. Hopefully back here on Saturday late afternoon

Do not put the curtains in the laundry. They will disintegrate. Ask me how I know. :aaagh:

All back safe and sound.

Exciting get it down the drive and into the car port. It was when I was moving Lucy's 59er that I realised that you only get 2 wheel drive with only one prop shaft on.

Nothing major fell off on the way (that I am aware of).
