My camper conversion of PTV433M
Re: My camper conversion of PTV433M
From memory, Robin had some frames made.
From the dormobile perspective, I can see that it would clear the wardrobe, but would def interfere with the spicerack(s)

Yes, I made a batch of frames a couple of years ago - Simon bought one of the last from that batch a week ago.yakcam wrote:Brilliant Simon,
Where did you obtain the Carawagon style awning frame from?
Here's the original thread HERE.
If there were any more interest I could make another batch, though after all the issues I had with the galvanizers, unless I can find a reliable firm I might supply them un-galvanized, or coated in Zinga, which is 'supposed' to be just as good as hot dip though possibly more expensive at around £30 per kg!
That's what I used to repair the poor galvanizing on some of the frames, and I haven't seen any signs of rust on them.
Simon has just fitted a Dormobile roof to a standard 109, and so doesn't have any furniture, spice racks etc. inside....yet.
He does know that Mick, Jabbawocky on here, manufactures Dormobile furniture
Cheers,
Robin.

Here are some photos of the installation on my previous roof.
Sorry for the links but quicker to sort than uploading to photobucket.

I'm holding on to the last two for my two Carawagon projects - one has a rusted through frame and the other didn't have one fitted.
As I say, I'm willing to make another batch if there's interest out there
Cheers,
Robin.

Yes Brad I do odd things like that from time to time.
