Camper Roof Racks and Equipment

Post by Jabbawocky » Wed Feb 29, 2012 12:26 am

Hi all

Shame full advertising of my own business, but hopefully some of the kit may be of use? I make roof racks, jerry can holders, cooking tripods and ropes for capstan winches. I also stock a variety of other camping/expedition kit.

Our Carawagon roof rack.

It's free to look at the website http://www.lrbits.co.uk

Please contact me if you need any further information.

Hi Alex

The Carawagon Jerrycan holders I have just made work out at £75 each as there is a lot of work in them and they will be galvanised.

I am working on a copy of the original Land Rover Jerry Can holder which might be a little bit cheaper, but materials are so expensive and the originals were quality items. Difficult to make copies of quality items and make them affordable to all.

The other problem is I'm not Chinese.

Cheers Mick

HI All

Just to say that Dormobile and Carawagon roof racks are back in stock. Also, I am currently making a couple of Dormobile type wardrobes and Jerry can holders for lights in panel and holders for lights in wing models.

Cheers Mick

Possibly interested in a Wardrobe and Jerry can holder Mick but am waiting for a deal to come off before I have 'Dormobile' money. Am I right in understanding that the porta potti, tray modification comes with the wardrobe? Do you have these in stock or is it a bespoke item? Also, what are the odds (and cost) of having the shelf for a nato container on the right but with a cupboard above it (basic)?

Dan. Porta Potti mod is in the tub, not the wardrobe.

Dan, I believe the tray fir the porta potty is a mod to the wheelbox under the wardrobe. But I also understood that the tray comes with the wardrobe.

I'm curious if I would be able the buy just the tray Mick?
