Staying logged in?

Post by Peaceand » Mon Feb 20, 2012 1:45 pm

Is anybody having trouble with the "Log me on automatically each visit" feature?

If so can you tell me what causes you to be logged out- is it just time, or is it leaving the site and returning?

Thanks,
Patrick

Hello

I find going away and returning causes me to have to log in again.

I run Firefox as a browser.

I had a bit of free time at work today, and I think I've fixed the login issue...Let me know if you get logged out again.

Thanks,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,

Don't know why but this is affecting me since upgrading my notebook from windows 8.1 to 10.

If the notebook goes into hibernation then logging back in is automatic. If the notebook has been shut down, then I have to hit the login button and tick the 'Stay logged in' again ? No other websites are affected and LRCC login is still automatic on my Android tablet.

Thanks
Ian

Hi Ian,
I'm running windows 10 at home so I'll check what happens when it shuts down instead.

Did you switch web browser when you upgrades to windows 10? The browser may have more to do with it than windows version.

Thanks,
Patrick

It's still happening to me.

I think it disconnects after around 15 mins.

Don't know if this sheds any light on the problem: -

I don't put shortcuts on my desktop if I can avoid it (throwback to Windows 95 maybe ?). To access this site I open Google Chrome then type the first 3 letters into the search box. By this time google has come up with the sites address, I hit return and here I am.

If I type LRC into google and access the site then sometimes I have to log in - sometimes I don't.

If I type rms (the beginning of the sites URL) into google then hit return, I seem to get straight in.

Confused ? You will be !
(Now who remembers that saying ?)

I have just bought the boxed set. It's in the American format so a bit difficult to watch , coz I can't hack my blu ray player but after thirty tears, it's still funny!
