Funeral of Romanyrose

Post by Viamphie » Sat Apr 27, 2019 7:23 pm

Hi Folks.

The funeral of Brad (Romanyrose) will be held at Lincoln Crematorium on Wednesday 15th May at 2pm.

Jayne has asked if we can rally the troops in giving Brad the send off he deserves and would appreciate. What else but by having as many leafers in attendance as possible. Brad would loved nothing more than sticking his head under as many leafer bonnets as he could at every event he attended. Let us all repay the notion.

I propose a list of attendees and vehicles.

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend as that's the day of my partner's long awaited surgery appointment and we'll be down in Surrey for it. I hope lots of folk and their Land Rovers can, Brad always did love to do things a little differently and filling up Lincoln with old Land Rovers for his funeral seems like a very appropriate thing to do.

I'll be there in Patrick's Prima powered Searle SWB - one of Brad's favourite vehicles

I met Brad a couple of times (both at Peterborough showground). The first time he stayed and talked/laughed with everyone. 2nd time he was there for the day. I would happily commit Dormy to his send-off (hope some will do it for me one day) but we will be going away that week unfortunately.

Hope the day goes well

An update.

Bike are also encouraged as it was also one of Brads loves in life.

Very good that so many will be there for Brad - unfortunately I’m working in Paris on that day, so unfortunately can’t be there.
