Another year older today

Post by romanyrose » Sat May 12, 2018 8:20 pm

G'day People, well I didn't realize until just a while ago today is my Birthday and I am now at the ripe old age of 65  , I know it is nothing much to celebrate these days but in my case it is.

As most who know me realize my health has had it's up's and down's, having had two bought's of major surgery that I can remember to save my life it was my stubbornness that got me through along with some close friends. Of course my main hobby which was old Brit bikes and my chop's was also a massive part of my life, for reason's I won't go into I had to let them go apart from my 58 Matchless chop that has done the best part of 25000 thousand miles.

Anyway not wanting to give in and prove to myself I could still make something from nothing is when my love of Landover's began, to be honest since that day I have never looked back and my love affair began in a big way. All my truck's are kitted as campers so I am comfortable and can eat sleep when ever I feel the need, this of course is a big thing with me because of my love affair with nature and just getting away to just be at peace with some nice sounds of Floyd and the like of the Psycodelic era.

Catch you later. R-Rose :tiphat: .

Again I Thank you from the depth's of my soul, I class myself lucky my mind is still in the Hippy era, although I was only young at the time for what ever reason that way of life has stayed with in me.
Don't get me wrong work was also a big thing with me, I would like to think I followed in my late fathers foot print's due to him loving to work hard but was also very at ease with nature. Cooking by an open fire in the middle of know where on our motor cycles then latterly behind my trucks was just a couple of instances I recall, yes he loved nature as do I and take/took nothing for granted.
I have said it before I was a very lucky man indeed, :wine: and yes we have knocked a few bottles back in our time bless him.

G'day People, it doesn't matter about the being late bit as it was my fault anyway, it's the fact belated wishes came mean's more than most people will realize and for that I can't thank you enough.

Catch you later. A soon to be a Romany again along with my very Battered frying pan of years gone by. Catch you later. R-Rose.
