Insurance

It seems one or two insurance companies are now accepting Carawagons as 'factory fitted' campers.

I've just insured my 'new' 1967 Carawagon for £75 for the year :nana1:

That's fully comp and includes the 200TDi engine, legal cover, European breakdown recovery (to any destination), green card, 3 drivers including Patrick at 25 years young, and agreed value of £8000.

Ok, mileage is limited to 3000 miles, but that can be increased for "just a few pounds" when needed, and there's a stipulation that a fire extinguisher must be fitted (because of the 'furnishings'!).

RH Specialist Insurance is worth a call when your renewal is due

Cheers,
Robin.
