Hi, try giving Nick Blanchard a ring, I think they still have about 20 left, there's bound to be a spare body kicking about.......

Yep, that was going to be my suggestion as well.

When Blanchards sell one they offer to remove the body (for a price!), so perhaps they might have one or two in the yard?

Cheers,
Robin.

PS. Mark, did you sort out your cylinder head gasket?

Hi Robin

The engine is now in the scrap yard!....
2 of the hot spots in the head had dropped down into the bores, i've saved the front cover, pump, turbo, manifolds etc,etc i'm post them on the web site if anyone wants them.
The 200tdi, i brought..... took the head off.. new gaskets.. put my spirit level on it, it looked ok..
put it in, changed the oil, plumber rad inn!... bleed pump etc, etc. it started a treat.. no knocks or bangs.. but there water weeping down the side of the block.
That engines out tomorrow, the 300tdi is going in, in the next few days, i'm taking all the wings off for better access welding the 300 engine mounts in, so i'm going to put a defender brake type servo in at the same time,( clutch as well)

We see at the show next saturday....
