Landrover 109, Serie 3, Dormobile, 1971 FOR SALE (In Sweden)
Dormobile-number 54374-1-523 (see photo)

Hi,
I am a new member and I am from Sweden.

My elderly father has now decided to sell his belowed Landrover.

It is all in ORIGINAL and in very good condition. Not repainted or renovated, except for the engine that was completely renovated in 2010 and has almost not been driven since.
No rust in chassi and almost no rust at all in the carosse. (Just a few small stains).

Driven 97475 miles (see photo).
Right side drive.

The entire camping equipment and the roof are original. The beds have been renovated by a tailor.

The gearbox has been added with ”overdrive”.

The car was checked by the Swedish controlsystem for cars in January 2018, with NO remarks at all (see photo).
My father knows the number of the original sign, if someone want ”to track it” back to the beginning.
Large and thick detailed original manual is encluded.

The history about our Landrover:
Our family went to London 1978, to buy this Landrover since my brother wanted to see the world.
With a drivinglicence that was only 14 days old, he and his friend drove from Sweden to Marocko and back again.
They lived in the car for 11 weeks.
When I got my drivinglicence, I was not as brave as my brother, but I drove on the ferry from Gothemburg to Harwich and drove to Brithton, where I studied english for a few weeks.

Since I and my brother are getting old, my father is getting 85 years old this year and his grandchildren are not enough interested in the car, my father has decided it is time to sell.
As far as I understand, it is quite unusual to find a Landrover Dormobile, 1971 in this original and excellent condition.
Except for some small stains and patina it is in very good shape.
I have a lot of photos, showing how it looks under the car as well.
If you are seriously interested and need some more information, please do not hesitate to ask me.
The car is located i Lidköping, Sweden, 150 km north of Gothemburg.

The price is as high as possible. ;-)

Wow, nearly identical to mine, only difference is the engine, mine is a 6 cylinder petrol.
Yours must be one of the last series 2a converted by Walter Martin being from 1971.
I'm sure someone will be interested.
I see the big wardrobe on the right hand side is missing, do you have that in storage somewhere?
That is the only thing that could dampen the price a bit, but other than that, it looks FABULOUS...

Thank you for the kind comments ;-)
About the wardrobe: We do not have that one.
The car looks exactly as when we bought it in 1978.
Sorry, I am not familiar with Mr Walter Martin. Would you like to tell me about him and his works?
Best regards,
Embla

Martin Walter was the company which converted the vehicles, under the name Dormobile.

Thank you for the very interesting information about Martin Walter. :-).
May I please ask for some advice of an appropriate price to ask for a Land Rover like this one?
I have tried to check around on the internet, but most cars that I find has either been renovated, repainted, welded or modernized.
This one is fully drivable, with no rust and works properly.
We needed a jumpstart when we started it yesterday but the engine and everything else runs just fine.

I enclose some images from the Swedish Besikta (need to be done by Swedish law).
Then we also were able to take some photos to show how it looks under. No rust :-)
