Wanted - Someone to repair my gearbox please

Post by AlexB » Sun Oct 16, 2016 3:55 pm

My series 3 gearbox (was in my green Dormobile until I discovered that the main shaft was in 2 bits) needs repair.

Mark Yellow (of OLLR fame) rebuilt it in years gone past but it hasn't done that many miles so needs seals and new main shaft

I have not the time nor the expertise so am looking for someone who has both and could do with several notes of the realm as recompense

Anyone out there or do we know of anyone please?

Many thanks

I had mine fixed by Beaumonts in Halifax. Was £550 incl. VAT and shipping both ways if I remember correctly. They rebuild mine as oppose to change it for a reconditioned unit as I wanted to keep all the serial numbers to stay with the Dormobile.
