Carawagon roof & 110 camper body

Post by RMS » Thu Apr 25, 2013 11:14 am

Hi guys, this was spotted by Phillip (dudley):

Ebay 110 Camper Body & Carawagon Roof

It looks like the seller has removed the Carawagon part of the roof from a 109, cut the aperture in a 110 roof and fitted the Carawagon roof.
Not a quick & easy mod as the roof has to be reshaped at the front, but if anyone is looking for a 110 camper project, it might be worth it.

You could even remove the Carawagon roof section and refit it to a 109, but you would have to buy the whole lot which makes it a bit expensive just for the roof

Hope it helps somebody.

Cheers,
Robin (& Phillip :tiphat: )

For the 110 a possible project...

But on a Series, things are not that easy as the windscreen is quite different..

As I said, you would probably have to cut a hole in a 109 roof and fit the Carawagon roof section into it.

Not as easy as just swapping roofs, but still do-able as it looks like that's what the seller has done to get it on a 110 roof :tiphat:

Still an expensive option though, unless you have a 110 to drop the whole lot on to

Well today might be your lucky day

The seller has relisted just the roof, with a wooden bunk  starting at £199 :gold:
