I've never seen one before... Looks nice and in good condition too.
The instructions should give it some authenticity. It looks genuine.

Thanks for sharing this with us...

Looks like a vintage "Oz Tent" , this is what we use if the whole family goes camping

Has anyone tried the oztent with a carawagon, I am thinking about it, I have an original carawagon stand alone tent
complete with the 70's flower power curtains in fetching yellow, orange and brown. However I think something like an oztent which would be quick and easy for one person to put up on their own might not be a bad choice.

Hope someone here gets the dormobile tent to go with their dormobile landy.

Please bear in mind that the oztent when folded up and packed up, is still a big package, 2 meters long. We used to have an oztent. i love 'm to bits, but with the Dormobile it is very cumbersome. You can't put them on the roof and inside the vehicle they take up too much room. I know some peeps do use em with the dormobile, but we are with 4 on holiday usualy, so wouldn't work for us.

Plus you always have a gap on the side of the vehicle as the oztent has a frame. The dormobile tent fits nicely around the back of the landrover as it is the right width.

GrumpyColin used to have an oztent and now he has his dormobile roof fitted, he bought a Khyam drive away awning. He has the 2m one that fits snug around the back of the landy. I'm sure he can provide a bit more in depth info if you wanted.
I have the 3m one, a bit bigger, but the tunnel you can still wrap around the back and enclose it completely.
Hope this all makes sense.

I too hope it goes to a dormobile or carawagon owner to be used as intended. It's too small for our use, otherwise.....

Only one bid at the end of the auction, so looks like Alex is now the owner of the Dormobile tent

Well done Alex.

Cheers,
