Refrigeration

Post by Cyberdiddle » Mon Mar 26, 2018 3:31 pm

Hi all. I'd love to fit a replacement for the fridge/freezer that is missing from my Carawagon. The space for the foot print appears to be 37 cm deep by 44 cm wide. Does anyone know of a suitable unit, ideally three way?

Thanks.

I would go compressor fridge every time. 3 way fridges use too many power from the battery.
Look for National Luna, Engel, ARB, Weaco etc.
Maybe they have a fridge that would fit.

I have a National Luna my self. I have it for about 5 years now, never looked back. Best investment after the heater from Robin... :gold:

I have a newish waeco and it's very quiet compared to a friends national luna, which is ideal if you're sleeping inside in climates where the fridge needs to be on.

G'day chaps, what sizes do these fridges come in please, unfortunately I am old school and use either a bucket of cold water or just don't bother with milk and the like. I guess it is only proper of me to consider my lady Jane who does like her home comforts a tad, although to be honest she loves her caravan with all her home comforts and a few good books to help her relax from her stressful job of dealing with people less fortunate than ourselves.

Catch you later. R-Rose and my Lady Jane.

PS. funds are a tad tight at the moment but I have lot's of different odd ball trinkets to exchange, it would also make my young lady happy which to me is all that matters Bless Her :tiphat: .

I've just taken the three way electrolux out of my 110 camper beacuse the exhaust fouled on my sexy new roofrack (ta Michiel).

It's available if anyone wants it, I doubt I'll put it back in.

Hi Matt,

Any chance you could measure the fridge, or let me know the model number?

Just wondered if it might fit in one of my projects

Cheers,
Robin.

Hi Robin.

It's an electrolux.

I'll have a measure in the morning and look for a number.

I'm pretty sure it's the same size as the one I used to have in my Type 2 Bay Devon Eurovette.

There's another chap interested so please decide quickly if you want it.

If you PM an email address or whatsapp number I'll try to get photo's to you.

I have binned facebook now.

Cheers
