My new overdrive
I just finished fitting a Roamerdrive overdrive unit to the Dormie. It's a very straightforward installation process. The thing that took the longest time was relocating the driver's (RHS) seat as the mountings overlapped the center seat box making it impossible to remove. I had to move it 1/2"...

Re: Dormobile bunk beds
I'm 6ft 2in and 190lbs (what's that in new money?) and sleep comfortably on my Dormobile bunk bed. I did replace the bunk bed material but had no problem with the previous tartan patterned material which rather reminded me of a deckchair on the promenade at Blackpool from the days of my miss-spent y...

Re: Dormobile badge
Did Karen at Charnwood give you an idea of price? I know that 100 badges seems like a lot, but you need 2 per vehicle. Maybe Jim at Dormobile would take some.

Interesting. I met Bran Ferren whilst working on "Little Shop of Horrors" with Frank Oz and visited him in the Hamptons. Brilliant mind. Mad as a hatter.

Re: 1000 mile trip
Congratulations Christine! I love to hear of long range Carawagon and Dormie trips.
My current record is 3,000 miles to Colorado and New Mexico from Los Angles and back last year.
Any chance of some pictures of your trip?

Nice work Alex. The interior and exterior both look very smart. Have a great trip and here's hoping a trouble free trip to boot. Trip report when you get back please!

Re: Dormobile badge front wings
Hi Michiel,
Mine has 2 badges - one on each side. Maybe they ran out of badges that day and yours only got one?
