Wanted some small items

Hi all, I'm after the metal or are they aluminum knobs that secure the rear seats at the front of the frame. I believe they normally are the same as the ones on the front seats? Also I'm after a later model cooker with the broiler. Mine is not the original anymore and as lacking the broiler. Also it...

Re: Hello, new member here

I feel garage envy coming up... :embarassed: Wish I had a nice garage where the dormi could fit in. It saves a lot of maitenance to the chassis and body if it can be dry stored instead of in the wet on the drive. I found that out with my last series 2a. It deteriorated quite rapidly.

Re: Hello, new member here

RH insurance are ace. unlimited milage, 200 excess, 75 glass etc. 90 days european breakdown cover. I was quoted £120.74. Took it as it was already cheaper then my old series 2a 109 with Footman James, who wouldn't insure my Dormobile unless it is parked up in a garage. I have a garage, but it don't...

Re: My new Dormobile first photo

You can indeed take gasbottles on the train. I was not asked as they have no clue I guess that this is a camper. I had the question when I took my 110 overlander on there. As long as it is either disconnected or switched off. BTW I just got insurance from RH insurance. All the others either have sti...

Re: Hello, new member here

Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately Peter James can't insure me because I am currently unemployed. :aaagh:

What has that got to do with having an insurance.... As long as you are able to pay the premium I would guess. :banghead:

Why is nothing ever simple in life? :thud:
