Re: Dormobile

Hi Chris This looks a good truck to me and could be the oldest 2a Dormobile. Land Rover only built another 88 Export SW after this one and looking at the Dormobile Serial number and the Reg number, this one sat at either at Dormobile or Solihul for quite some time. My 1971 export chassis Dormobile i...

Re: Eberspacher electric Plug

Hi Robin The plug was for a timer. I found a wiring diagram and it is now removed. Heater is fitted and seams to be working properly. It seams to be working on the thermostat, turning itself on and off. Shame they are so noisy!! I have a silencer on the exhaust, but still a bit noisy for some of the...

Re: Dormobile seat bases past there best.

Hi all I said I would update and I am glad to say the repair seams to have been a great success. I guess only time will tell, but at present I must be a couple of inches higher and not bouncing through the roof everytime I hit a bump. Only got Barney back on the road today after fitting the Eberspac...

Re: Correct Cooker for Carawagon

Thanks for the responses.

I want a cooker for the back door. Were the cookers mounted in a Carawagon manufactured case? Did Carawagon add the clips that hold the cooker closed? Should I make a strong case and mount a cooker in it or do the Dudley cookers come in a strong enough case?

Eberspacher electric Plug

Hi all On with fitting the Eberspacher I have had in the garage for the last 10 years into Barney. Heater is in the rear footwell and I want to run the wire to the back under the floor, but don't want to drill too big a hole. This black plug requires a 28mm hole, but what does it do? Can I get rid o...

Correct Cooker for Carawagon

Would those of you in the know, Please educate me on the correct cooker for a Carawagon. Pictures would be great and sizes of cooker. Pitfalls in purchasing a said cooker and prices one would expect to pay.
